WebUncover was created by a group of young developers and technology enthusiasts who share a simple curiosity: what is really behind a website?

Every day, millions of websites are built using different technologies, platforms, frameworks, themes, plugins, analytics tools, hosting providers, and other services. Yet, finding out what powers a particular website is not always easy.

We wanted to make that process simpler.

That idea led to WebUncover — a simple and accessible platform designed to help anyone discover the technologies behind websites.

We are a small team of developers who have spent years working with websites, web technologies, programming, and digital products.

While building and analyzing websites ourselves, we often needed to answer questions such as:

• What CMS is this website using?
• Which WordPress theme is installed?
• What plugins are being used?
• Which analytics tools are running?
• What technologies power this website?
• What services are connected to it?

We found that getting these answers could require multiple tools and a lot of manual research.

So we decided to build a better way.
